Are you a Latymer student, member of staff or parent? If so, please get involved in the Christmas Fair on Saturday November 22rd 11am to 3pm.
There are many ways you can get involved:
ORGANISE A STALL
Get in touch with your inner entrepreneur or artist and run a stall. We have some stalls available for students and we would love to see you there. In the past students have run games or activities, done arts and crafts or run nail bars or temporary tattoo parlours.
If your School club/society or Sports teams needs funds why not run a game such as penalty shoot out (netball or football), giant battleships, skittles etc. We can help you with some of the equipment just get in touch with us.
You pay the Gild a nominal fee for a table and give us 10% of your takings so be creative!!

DO SOME BUSKING
If you play an instrument or can sing come and make some money by busking at the Fair. We are looking for individuals or small groups who are willing to perform. We have some space inside the Hall for individuals and pairs and a designated venue outside (under cover and with heating!) for the amazing and talented bands we know are in Latymer.Contact Liz Rigden if you would like a slot or if you would like to be a paid accompanist Please come and showcase your talents to an appreciative audience and support the Horizon Fund.
We ask for a donation of £3 for a timed slot and 10% of your tips . In the past buskers have been well financially renumerated by an appreciative crowd!
Thanks and we are really looking forward to hearing you!
BECOME A “FAIRMAKER”
Inspired by the nation’s volunteering spirit set by the Gamesmakers in the Olympics and Paralympics in 2012 and at the Commonwealth Games and with a nod to our new Sports Hall, we are seeking FAIRMAKERS to add the same magic to our Christmas Fair.We are looking for 12 young people from the Lower Sixth to come along at pre-designated time slots and help out with a variety of light duties on the day.
The time slots are 11-1pm and 1-3pm
What is the role of a Fairmaker?
We’d like you to be a point of information by directing visitors to different part of the Fair, helping with traffic flow, sell raffle tickets, liaise with Gild stall holders and the Treasurer over supplying stalls with change when needed. We also would like you to make the initial tea and coffee for the stall holders and generally be your charming and friendly selves.
What do you get out of it?
A lovely t shirt provided by the Parents’ Gild. The design is negotiable if you let us know quickly. The eternal gratitude of the Parents’ gild.
One free drink and snack voucher (hot dog, steak sandwich, crepes, waffles, filled rolls, cakes etc)!
